Initiative for Clean Air in Europe

ERECA, the Exhaust Retrofit Emission Control Alliance, is an initiative by European emission control technology companies, Eminox, HJS Emission Technology and Proventia Emission Control, who have combined their resources to tackle the air pollution problem in Europe. ERECA challenges EU Member States and Regional Authorities to provide clean air in Europe. Right to Clean Air

The citizens of Europe have the right to clean air. This is why European and national Regulations, for example Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe, set a number of limits and alarm thresholds for the concentration of certain pollutants in the air. These include particulate matter (PM10, PM2.5) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). READ MORE »
